Chrome-Aluminum 4oz. Permanent Paint Refill
The Chrome-Aluminum 4oz. Permanent Paint is a little bit different than the 24K Chrome. It still blings like crazy, especially in direct sunlight, it just doesn’t dry to a mirror finish. Instead it looks like the shimmer you see on a candy-painted low rider if that makes any sense.
You can see the heavy dose of aluminum in the bottle when you look at it, it looks like tiny pieces of glitter mixed into the paint.
The Chrome-Aluminum is also xylene-based just like the 24K, only what sets this apart is when left untouched on bare metal & steel surfaces, the paint will bond with the steel/metal structure over time. It will melt right into the surface and rust with the metal, however you will still be able to see the tags.
This paint flows great in any mop or paint pump/valve marker and will not disappoint. It dries quickly to a shinny, glossy finish and really pops on darker colored surfaces. This was one of our best sellers since 2006.
If you wanna try the 24K Chrome, we also have that available as well.

I bought some of this years ago from the old illadelink.com site and the spots I hit with it still look good. I gotta try that 24K next. I think when I bought the chrome aluminum back then it had an 18K chrome label and came in the aluminum bottles.

I filled an old grog mop with this stuff maybe 3 months back, maybe longer and it still shines. alot of chrome or silver i used in the past shine for a little while then the shine or shimmer or whatever starts to disappear after the rain and the sun beating on it but this stuff holds up better than i’ve ever seen. this and the 24k chrome, both top notch metallics in my opinion. great job illadel!!

bought this one by mistake instead of the mirror finish but just as good. many chrome paints out there have that dull grey/silver finish when they dry but this chrome aluminum you can actually see the shine inside the bottle especially when you shake it up. goes on smooth and shines nice and bright. I was definitely pleased with this paint.

I found an old refill of this I got from you years ago at Mutts shop so I bought another one because there’s this pole attached to a no parking sign I used it on and it looks like it’s melted into the sign. Like it rusted with the metal and everything. I think if someone wanted to buff it they would low key need a grinding wheel.
