Illadel Metal Etch Rust Mop

The Illadel Metal Etch Rust Mop is a 2oz. squeezer filled with metal etching solution that burns into pretty much any type of bare metal.

The longer it sits the more it etches the metal so it’s better to squeeze a little harder than you would with regular ink, that way more of the solution will find it’s way to the metal and rust it up real nice.

The etching solution does not work on painted metal or any metal with any type of clearcoat or anything, the surface must be bare metal.

Ideal surfaces are aluminum, tin, stainless steel, copper, steel, etc. like those transit platform stainless steel doors the maintenance mans keep their stuff in, those are always a nice high traffic spot to hit.

If you apply the etch and it turns bright yellow the metal is coated and it won’t work…keep that in mind.
You should also keep the mop in a heavy duty plastic bag when not in use and wear gloves whenever you do use it.

DO NOT MIX ANYTHING WITH THE ETCH SOLUTION. A chemical reaction could take place and cause severe injuries.

We also have a 2oz. Glass Etch Mop available as well.

I work a “regular job” with alot of squares and I really don’t like any of them so inside the elevator at my workplace (I work in a corporate setting) I smashed 2 of the 4 elevators on the inside 1-because I always wanted to smash them and 2-so I can sit back and watch the squares I work with get upset and all that lol. I did that about 2 weeks ago and they’re still talking about “the criminal who vandalised the elevator”. Thanks to the guy on the illadel instagram account for giving me the idea. p.s. they replaced the metal panels on the elevators but I plan on getting them again.
