Illadel Glass Etch Mop

The Illadel Glass Etch Mop has 2oz. of highly concentrated glass etching solution that will burn itself into any glass or mirror surface almost immediately.

As soon as the etch touches the glass it will begin to cloud up around the edges of the letters and once the fluid dries the tag will be permanently burned into the surface forever. Or until somebody buys a new pane of glass.

You have to shake these mops really good for a minute or two before each use because the purity of the different chemicals causes tiny crystals to form in the solution. You should also keep the mop in a plastic ziploc bag when not in use and keep it stored at room temperature whenever possible.

DO NOT MIX ANY INK OR OTHER CHEMICALS WITH THE GLASS ETCH.
It is already as strong as chemically possible. There is nothing you can add to it to make it any stronger.

This is not a product you buy simply because you read about it on a graff forum. If you do not know how to use it you shouldn’t buy it.

Does not work on windows with anti-graffiti film, glass that has been heat treated, tempered glass, shatter-resistant glass, or Borosilicate Glass, which has been designed to be durable and resistant to chemicals and rapid temperature changes, preventing the chemical from etching the surface.

Also, most windows are usually covered in dirt & grime from long periods of not being washed/cleaned. When the dirt & filth mix with the etch & dry on the nib the nib may clog.
