I sometimes use this for slaps and put one on a stainless steel signal box. It stayed up for a year before the city eventually buffed the entire thing. The ink actually ate through the sticker and a ghost tag was scarred onto the surface. If this stuff is allowed to stay up long enough, the only way to get it off is with a wire wheel or an angle grinder.
